Looking for a web programmer

As you can probably already tell from the dust on this site, I’ve hit a wall.  I had been trying to do it all myself, but while I know I can puzzle all this programming out, at my skill level it becomes too time-consuming, and a waste of my expertise in the other things I want to bring to this site.
I need help.

So if you are, or know anyone who is a decent programmer and wants to become essentially a partner in the site, drop me an email and we can discuss plans and ideas.  I really want this site to grow!

Albany Bulb Rage

Translation Provided

So i finally got a translation of that blog post that I wrote about earlier:
It is a blog of a young Ukrainian woman (very witty one, I must say)- she visited the exhhibition, noticed the poor quality of some bodies (”something is dripping from some of them - I wonder if it was made to shock visitors or it is just the poor quality of balsamation”) and mentioned your page as another complaint in this regard. Nothing more :) (No wonder that Babelfish has choked - the actual language is
so-called “mangcorn”, or “surjik”, a mix of Ukrainian and Russian words, quite funny to those who happen to speak both languages.)
Thanks go to Eugene Yaremenko for his great help!

16th Anniversary of the Seal Lions’ Arrival

Today marks the sweet 16 for the sea lions taking over part of the San Francisco waterfront. Pier 39 is having an ‘event‘ but knowing what a non-event their Tulipmania is, I expect this to be basically the same as any other day there.

San Francisco Rock and Roll Hall of Fame

Just heard about this even though the news is over 6 months old. Looks like a San Francisco Rock and Roll Hall of Fame is in the works. Lets hope it fares better than the San Francisco Style Polka Hall of Fame.

Tickets for 2006 Treasure hunt on sale

The yearly San Francisco Chinese New Year Treasure Hunt is real fun, and tickets just went on sale for the 11 February 2006 event. We so far have done better in the punny name category than the actual hunt. I hope it doesn’t rain this year either.

What the heck is this?

I’ve been sitting on this one for a bit to make sure it stayed at the top of the heap for a while. I have no idea what this mysterious structure is. I had passed it many times on the highway and finally stopped to check it out, and I still don’t have any idea what it is. Comment on that post if you have any leads.

A good review

It’s mainly good, and totally fair. Give a look.

Want to open a Newton museum?

Want to start a geeky museum? or atleast get the torch from a fan of Apple Newtons? Well, now’s your chance, as it’s for sale.

Can Anyone read Ukranian? or Russian?

What does this say? Babelfish chokes on it. I know it’s about my Universe Within page, with references to the original and how the former version obtains their bodies. I only guess it’s Ukrainian because Babelfish choked on it. Little help?
