Piss (Fontána)

This is a robotic sculpture of two men urinating messages into a Czech-shaped pool of water, created in 2004 by artist David Cerný. It is located in or near the Hergetova Cihelna restaurant. They normally ‘write’ quotes from famous Czech people, but you can send an SMS message to a number (which I have yet to find) and they will write your message too. I am told it is hard to tell what they are writing though.
Usually with these blurbs I try to work in a personal anecdote or opinion relating to the attraction. I really can’t think of anything to say like that: best I could do is to make a golden showers joke. The sculpture is more of a brass colour though. Oh well.
